There is one sure thing about computers – there is always a newer, faster, more powerful one waiting around the corner to soak up all of our extra money. We'll wait and see what happens with the Amiga. I still think that, given an opportunity to be developed and sold by someone who wanted it to succeed, it can succeed. There are still a number of ways in which it has real advantages so far as the OS and hardware are concerned. It lacks good software in some areas…….so we won't argue, we'll just wait and hope. I enjoy my little Toshiba subnotebook computer and the genealogy software it runs, but I really feel the limitations of the operating system and resent the size of the programs and the tremendous amount of hard disk space and memory they require. But it is wonderful to be able to take my computer with me knowing that it weighs only four pounds, and can even fit into a large ladies' purse if I don't want to use its dedicated carrier. It's great to hear that things have gone so well for you on Maui. I had often wondered, and hoped you'd drop by to let us know. Congratulations on your success there. Betty
