The problem is that I have genealogy software that runs ONLY on MSDOS. And I
cannot find similar software for any other system – not even for Windows.
Neither program can run under OS/2 (if I'm to believe the manuals….haven't
tried it.) So I'm stuck with MSDOS. I don't think the Mac Powerbooks would
help me much, since they won't run the software that forced me to get an MSDOS
machine in the first place. I love the size and utility of my little
Toshiba…..just don't like MSDOS. I'll be delighted to see it replaced with
something more modern.
