Rick: It works fine with 2D diskettes, so I don't think the write head is defective. It is only HD diskettes where I can't write. I've checked the cable, all the chips on the BB, etc…. I guess there is nothing for it but to replace the floppy drive, but still strange. I was hoping that it was a setup problem somewhere. I guess not. Thanks.
