Don, Yup, "the UNIX vs NT is still very much a war that has many battles to go." That's the point. MS is _in_ the battle. NT _is_ a contender. Unthinkable a short while ago. And the scary thing is that because MS is a unified (if monolithic) entity, it might win the battles because UNIX is still so fragmented. Even in the UNIX world, appreciation of the superiority of a system (asuming UNIX will always be superior to NT) is not a given, and decisions are made by people who have diverse priorities. Any how, like in all things, the competition will benefit the computer world. Rich
