Actually…that's exactly what's happening from your description, the
internal buffer is overfilling…and the terminal program can't handle it.
Your path would have nothing to do with it…the buffer is in RAM within the
terminal program and/or the operating system.
In that case…the best you could do would be to set serial prefs for
NONE on flow control…let it pass the ^S and ^Q on to CIS.
