I think you'll be happier with the sony, which is a _real_ video ntsc monitor. The IDEK is a computer monitor with appropriate inputs for video, but not really designed for video monitoring (video as in broadcast). I would not use a computer monitor for creating images to go to broadcast video because the difference is just too big – the computer monitor will always look so much better.
