True, the Amiga Cases are expensive, but it always comes back to
economy of numbers.
If Bomac had made a zillion tower cases they could have gotten the
price down well below $350.
If you so desired, there were lots of plans floating around to convert
a PC case to an Amiga case, but that meant you had to have the right
tools to cut thick steel (no tin snips here !)
I did convert a case once, and it was a royal pain in the butt, then I
bought a Bomac, used, for $225.
It has it's good and bad points, but overall I am thrilled that the
motherboard fits, and theres lots of drive bays.
