I say for now I have my hands full learning all the new stuff with R4 to waste
time worrying about R5 and how it will affect my pocketbook. The immediate
goal is to put R4 to work making big money using the efficiency of IK and
scripting language so the cost of upgrading to R5 12-18 months from now will be
taken care of.
Its Gary's job to worry about R5 for now and I trust he will do his usual
fantastic job of it. Meanwhile just shoot the wishlist to him and then get on
with the tutorial for R4.
