Martin, The aspect ratio of .85 Horiz. is used to create a 1:1 image on the PAR from a 640 x 480. We are using a 752 x 480 image to create the final output to the PAR, you arrive at this by multiplying 640 x 1.175 = 752. If you multiply 768 x 1.175 = 902 which gives an image of 902 x 512 for the proper aspect for the PAR (much to BIG). So bring the 902 down to the 752 PAR resolution and this will fit onto the Horiz. and leaves you with 426 for the Vert. and 27 lines top and bottom of black to create your letterbox. 902 512 — x — = 426.9 752 Y Hope all these numbers makes some sense to you this late in the Evening!
