Here is the scoop! There is a case that may require courtroom animation, but the rub is that the principal attorney wants someone that is blooded. That's right, the attorney wants someone who has been offered, tendered and qualified as an expert witness in courtroom animation. This is not a criminal case. The case is a suit that requires the description of a mechanical process in the testimony. It is not a product liability suit, so the players do not involve the actual manufacturer as a plaintiff. The ideal animation candidate would be a mechanical engineer that has become an animator who specializes in courtroom animation and………and has been blooded as a qualified witness. There is a qualified expert witness in the implication of the process so the animator will not be operating in a vacuum. I am an animator and could well have done the descriptive visual animation, but the attorney wants someone who has already be qualified in a court of law at lease once. I prefer that you E-mail your responses. I will pass on your responses and make introductions. You will not be able to retire on this animation, but the attorney realizes the cost.
