Alan, While using Corel 4.0 I imported a tiff or targa? and the backgroung was gone (I think it was a white background), it was instant alpha channel, of course I could not need it at the time and I could not reproduce it again. While talking to tech support on another issue I mentioned this alpha thing and they said it was an unsupported feature and must of had an exact color for this to work, and they said this would be a feature in realse 5. I don't know how to achive this but you might try adding a outline or fill color to the bitmap. I would try this but I am not brave enough to purchase realease 5 yet! I still need to produce work and don't need any more bugs. Hay! Can you beleave tha last message I left about that rounding problem that I had with the WalMart project!
