Alan and All – We found the problem with access to this forum. Many of you were getting "forum not available at this time" messages when you tried to enter. We're not going crazy. The CIS computers are messed up. A part quote from Sysop Forum below. We were not alone! Many Sysops were having members report both the "forum not available" and not being able to get into one forum without going through another one. They are working on the problem. The computers referred to below are the main CIS computers. So AMMEDIA and ARPBETA must be on the same computer which is why you can go to beta from multimedia. (Incidently I'll be helping out here from time to time but only with administration problems. No way am I touching beta software – I'd blow it up and have no idea of what I've done!) Anne ***** Our computer room folks are getting harassed by a gremlin that will make one computer not be able to find another one. So if a member is on the affected computer and tries to GO to your forum on the other, he'll get a "Service is Temporarily Unavailable" message. If he GOes to a different product that's on any other computer, he'll be able to get to the forum with no problems.
