I don't use Microstation but I have encountered several folks who share your
view that Microstation to 3DS file importing via .dxf is a hassle (several here
in AMMEDIA and a couple in CADDVEN). Could you explain why .dxf is
problematic? I'd like to formulate a decent suggestion for Autodesk to
consider. Which choices do you use – By Layer? By Entity? Do you experience
flipped face normals?
