I'm afraid that if you aren't seeing the camera move, either a) you _aren't_
following the tutorial directions _exactly_, or b) you don't have a camera
viewport (although you should see the blue camera icon moving w/ the dummy in
the other viewports).
You've got a dummy, a camera and a camera.target — in the KF, select
Hierarchy/Link/ and pick the camera, and then pick the dummy. You should see
feedback messages occuring on the command line at the bottom of the screen.
Now, pick the camera.target and then pick the dummy. Again, watch the
messages.
These are steps 3 & 4 of the architectural walkthrough tutorial on page 20-13
(although I see the tutorial has you link the target first, it doesn't really
make any difference — you could link both the camera and target at the same
time if you wanted by hitting "H" when prompted for the child object and then
selecting both the camera and target). I suspect that you are choosing the
dummy first and the camera/target second, thereby making the dummy the child
object instead of the parent. You can check this by usin Hierarchy/Link Info.
Good Luck.
