Wireframe data in a .dxf file will usually be fine for importing into 3DS.
However, .dxf files are written in a number of ways from many different
programs. They don't all adhere to the standard which causes some anomolies.
Another thing to be wary of is 2D .dxf files, some programs can only write 2d
files.
