Help… I have a sequence that I have rendered, an architectural walk thru. at one point I am slowly lowering the camera from 30' to 6' above the walking plane. Over a 200 frame sequence, I get about 30 randomly spaced bad frames. Note: nothing in the scene is changing / moving execpt the camera. In these 30 frames the texture I have used for a concrete walkway, darkens a lot for that one frame. The image before and after look great. I have rerendered the sequence repeatedly and it is always the same frame. The sequence has been rendered on a stand alone station and over a render farm. Both cases yield the same bad frames. The only excuse I can see is somehow I'm hitting a rounding error with the math between the camera / surface / lighting. WHAT is a SOLUTION? Adjusting the path isn't really a solution. There is no way you could predict this behaviour with sample images, and I'm committed to the 900 frames as is. Oh yea, this is not the skinny triangle problem. Any assistance would be helpful at this point. I have boss breath on my neck Todd
