Hello Andrew, "Hi Martin, I understand you are responsible for OpalVision tech support. I am trying to combine Amiga on OpalVision graphics using the OVPlayer but I get a line of white pixels down the left side of the Amiga graphics. Is there a way I can get rid of that?" This is actually a quirk of the harware, basically what happens is that there is a slight delay (about 20ns) between when the OpalVision determines that it need to switch between the Opal/Amiga display and when the switch actually occurs, such delays are enevitable in hardware but to overcome this a much more expensive circuit would need to be used. In a lot of cases the impact of this can be reduced significantly by changing the Amiga background colour to black or to the same colour as the Amiga graphics themselves. Martin Boyd, Opal Technology.
