Well it is alot quicker — color on the 800C is done on one pass.
Resolutions depends on how much RAM you have. Higher the res, more RAM
needed — full color, even more RAM.
I capture mostly in grey, using as much RAM as I can. Then I will check
for contrast and gamma to get an image that will require hardly any
clean-up. Next I will scale down to the size I need. And save the image
with 16 colors. Import to DPaint for cleanup, then import to Alpha Paint
as a brush – adding face color, edge, & shadow – all in one step!
The Epson and Alpha Paint are a great combination!
