One problem I have is that my .flc will flash as it ends and I am wondering if I can realize the background template first to prevent a flash or … umm, or whatever. 🙂 << we have very few resources here in the library on the VBX (and AAPLAY.DLL). you may wish to search the libraries using keywords AAPLAY, VBX and take a general browsing though the SDK and Utilities libraries. i believe the flash on the flic is a known problem… but is a result of the way the player was written and the way Windows handles palettes. we have seen this same symptom in other Winapps. let me know if you need info to order the ASLs for AAPLAY and other AnimatorX resources. -dave
