Yeah, I spent some time with the harcopy and on-line references and didn't get
much help. Here's what I don't understand:
Renderize makes about a 7 MB AVI containing 300 320×240 frames. I did the same
thing to a series of JPG files.
I read the JPG series into AS and tried to save them as an AVI. I either got a
60 MB monster AVI (that Vid for Win ran great) or a <2 MB AVI that looked like
crap. I tried a lot of the CODEC combinations and never did find one that
approached the size and quality I got with Renderize.
I didn't scientifically go one by one with all the options because that'll take
forever. I know I tried the cinepak option altho' I don't remember which side
of the scale it was on.
When I get some time I'll try more and take notes this time.
