>> Hi, I have just loaded Animator studio on my new P133, and it will not load. It just stops at the splash screen. I am able to normally close windows, so it seems that it is just loading the splash screen and stopping. I do not have any of the fixes (v.1 only) and I have been registered for over a month. I probably have video for windows 1.1e. Any suggestions? << several: make sure you get the upgrade (in other words make sure you have sent in your registration card) make sure you are not running this version on win95 or NT make sure you have at least 100MB FREE hard drive space once you're inside windows, make sure you have at least 16MB of RAM and a 50MB swap file configured (at least). make sure AAS is the last windows 3.x application loaded on your system in case other applications have overwritten its use of Video for Windows and other support files. if i remember right, the VFW version AAS ships with is 1.1d, so if you have 1.1e, no dice. re-install AAS. let me know what your system configuration is (ram, free HD space, exact version of windows, other windows apps which use VFW, current swap file size, graphics card rev and model, and system files which create or manipulate memory management. i can't help you further till i know what you're running on. these days, telling someone the processor speed only is like saying "my car isn't working and it has 4 wheels." waiting on your response. -dave
