One where particular icons can be pointed to and cliked by the viewer to initiate different animations? << absolutely. as a totally simple example, you can even use the Windows Media player (several sessions open at a time) to do this. the Scriptor can be keyboard controlled for playback of animated slides as well. >> 2. can the Animator Studio bundle be configured to run a presentation (with sound) on a laptop, using only the pc speaker? << depends on the windows drivers you have. the default driver SPEAKER.DRV can be configured with clever INI settings… i use my laptop in this way sometimes, but use a soundcard whenever possible as PC speaker quality is dreadful. -dave
