Daniel,
<Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it and it would be perfect for my needs if
only it rebooted without the requesters.>
I've never used the one here, so I don't know about the requestors. Darn…
sorry it didn't work…
<I figured that if I booted off the Seagate and had a reboot command in the
startup file, the second boot would be off of the WD drive as I want and I
wouldn't have to manually reboot all the time.>
Gotcha! Ok…I've got a file here (on my computer) that is a hack I grabbed
off of Usenet. I don't remember who wrote it, and I certainly cannot guarantee
its integrity, but, it works on my A2000/040 under OS 3.1 and hasn't caused any
damage (that I know of) yet….
<Any ideas of another program or how I can disable the requesters on
"reboot"?>
I have no idea how to disable the requestors. But, if you want the hack
I've got (it's tiny, 48bytes) I can uuencode it and send it to you in Cmail, or
file attach it to you. Again, NO guarantees, it could eat your hardrive for
all I know (this is why I haven't uploaded it to the Forum). Your choice! 🙂
