Gary,
From your description, I believe you were successful in downloading LHA138.RUN,
and also in unpacking it. And then you copied LHA to your c: directory
successfully. Is that right? I'm not a Dopus user, but if you got the file
copied to C: it should matter what method you used.
Now, how are you trying to use LHA? Let's pretend that you were unpacking
Autopilot – the Amiga navigator. Any other program would work the same way. If
you had download it, it would be called AP.LHA. And here's how you would
unpack it:
First, copy your downloaded copy of AP.LHA to ram:
Then, type:
CD RAM:
lha x ap.lha
That's all you have to do. It unpacks the files, and then you can read the
directory, find the text, doc, or readme files and they will tell you how to
install and run the software.
Have I guessed wrong about your problem? If this doesn't answer your question,
