Andrew, Glad you changed the topic – that was the main reason for my suggestion about email, but I also figured not many would be interested. Your exposure to the MAC prodcuts for MM development puts you in the driver's seat in this discussion because I have no hands-on with those products. Since you've stirred my interest, could you please expand upon your comments that (usually) with the MAC products you are more impressed with the feature set and flexibility? I have used AVPro, SCALA, CanDo, and just started playing with HELM on the Amiga. In my limited experience, flexibility has never been a problem (thank you Bill for ARexx!) although feature sets among these packages vary. Your professionalism observation goes unchallenged because I think you are correct – probably a result of the size of the market however. Strangely enough, I strongly feel that good MM requires good multitasking, unless of course one is happy to live within the constraints on any one particular MM product/environment <grin>. Hummm, looks like this is just a reflection of my comments on flexibility. Our applied backgrounds are a lot more similar than I would have expected! I have also done several small projects on the Amiga and then on big kiosk system but all mine where done on the Amiga. The kiosk was a lot of fun and a little challanging – had to use dual laser disc players. Why is it that all paying clients want it yesterday? EdV
