firstly, i suggest that you take the knife of your modem, thus reducing, even eliminating the cutting off effect caused by the modem. You could always try shouting at it, or if the symptoms persist, slamming you fist down hard on it. 🙂 OR You could take the time and tell us what hardware/software your using and also telling us what your doing and what actually happens when you get cut off.
