Are you trying to download using the download requester on the pulldown menu of NComm? If so this doesn't work. Sellect YModem and just follow the compuserve commands. I used termite before autopilot, and when I got to the download stage I used the pull down menu and a message came up "Download cancelled or timed out". I then, ignored this requestor and followed the Compuserve commands. The other problem which confused me was: "Sellect a filename for your computer". I put a directory path in here. This is also wrong. All it is asking for is what you want the file to be called. (ie AP.LHA name this as AP). If this doesn't work,let me know and I'll go through it on NComm again. Rest assured, once youve got AutoPilot you will be delighted as it speeds up downloads and you can read and write messages off line Peter Hill
