Diavolo
Asha,
>> Thanks… I was very impressed with the speed of Diavolo, but I really think
I need the English manuals before I actually buy the program. If you do hear
something please post it.<<
Well, after a week or so of emails with Martin, I finally asked him to send me
the non-pro version (since that's how much I'd already paid via SWREG) with the
German manual. It showed up today. Quite timely considering he's sending it
from Germany and was only a week or so ago I finally told him what I wanted
now.
I also told him that I wanted details on how to upgrade to the 'pro' version
when the English manual is available. I want the pro version now, but I
realized the German manual wouldn't do me much good, but I wanted to at least
start using Diavalo and get more familiar with it and maybe be able to use it
to restore my Amiga partitions.
It is rather entertaining trying to make sense out of a German manual for Amiga
software when all you have to go on is a few years of French and some minimal
exposore to Spanish and almost no German at all.
I got about as far as 'Starten Sie die Installation durch Doppelklick auf das
Installationsicon.' OK, so I shove the install disk in and Doppelklick on the
Install icon. It's got an English install script, but that's about as much use
as the manual is to me!
I'll be sending Martin a note here real soon asking how he wants me to pay for
an upgrade, but I think I'll wait until I hear the English manual is available
🙂
