if you go to a store to check out 3DO, ask if they have an opened copy of
Twisted: The Game Show to use as a demo. I played that game for 10 minutes
at a store last month, and not only was it incredibly intuitive, but it
was a hoot! A campy parody of game shows with slick, no-wait video
sequences displayed one after the other — it really felt like watching a
TV show. It was eerie.
Others may recommend the texture-mapped real-time shoot-em-up games, but
for this twisted fan, 3DO's killer ap is Twisted.
