My thought is when you have the switcher interface loaded, and the CG is full, and also highlighted, you can hit the F10 key (brings you to set up) now click on save and the requestor comes up. Go to the next open space and type in a new name for this project. Mind that all these current effects and highlighted slices will load whenever you return to this project. Yesterday, I was revamping an online Toaster system at a local cable access station, and there were 10 different night time shows all occupying the same CG page. What happened to them is not uncommon…one 1/2 hour operator screwed up another operators key page display. So, as a solution to the argument, we set up key pages and graphic displays for each show and saved them in setup under their respective names. We also changed the system to a Workbench startup version with a get small default. This forces each participant to search further for their show's personal project in the set up area. <<Is there a way to either store more than 99 pages, or to transfer pages from one book to another, or to reduce the book load time?Is there a way to either store more than 99 pages> To answer this, I suggest using 6-10 fonts in any version CG book, and deletion (from book only) of those not used. Lastly, the same applies to pages. I sometimes use FrameStores loaded from switcher side and use a key frame built, to go with it, rather than saving the whole graphic with a generated overlay as a lightning page because the latter would be memory intensive for CG startup. Now days, I use the Flyer more and 3.1 less, but that old Toaster software is good to have around when the new stuff is unfinished to date. THE VIDEO GUY- a professional video taping service
