It looks like we will be dumping real 3d as soon as 3ds is out for nt and does
some splineing (next version) — it looks like r3d will never get the support
for rpl the ipas has and the industry is moving way too fast.

Reading the above it sounds unfair.
Let me say that for US, where the money is not the issue, a system like MAX is
a good choice…. the industry support will be invaluable.
This is not really a flaw in R3d, if you can take the time to learn it, and
RPL, then I am sure it will be great for you.
