Jon,
Your animation is an opcode 5 or anim 5 animation.
Probably the easiest way to add a sound byte to your animation on your 600
would be to play the sound simultaneously with another program. Ain't
multitasking great? I use playsound. Another program from the DPaint III era is
DeluxeVideo. I bought them both as a bundle six years ago. It was a pretty cool
program at the time (actually still is although the competition has surpassed
it). With this program you can string together anims and stills, add sounds,
midi and titling and even create interactive programs. It should work fine on a
600 with some memory. Scala is even better than this. Does everything DV does
and then some. I did some awesome presentations with Scala on a 500 with an
ADSpeed, 1 meg chip and 4 megs fast ram. Should run on a 600.
