Thanks for the reply. Good news. Since I don't have the new system yet, I don't know what its limitations are going to be regarding bringing in sequential files. I have used the Avid Media Composer. I have my doubts on ease of use, based strictly on my limited experience on it. I will soon be trying out the Media 100, which looks promising at this writing. I was told by the dealer tht it will take DeBabilizer. Maybe that's what it takes to import sequentially. I'll ask him about what you discovered in the manual. By the way, how does your friend like Media 100? Perhaps that discussion is for another forum. You may reply by mail if you like. Thanks again, Paul
