Hi, Dean, I mainly use 3D Studio, so here is my suggestion to doing this
elsctricity text thing. You can use the Imagine FX (from Sheriber) IPAS, which
includes a lightin AXP. You can simply move the AXP accross the top of the
letters to create the electircal line effect. Then for the text, you can use an
animated map for opacity, such as wiping from left to right, maybe you can even
fractal the aniamted bitmaps, so the edge will kind of "wave".
This way, the text will show from left to right.
