Michael: How about: In the KF, select Hierarchy/Link and then hit "H". In the dialog, use the template box w/ something like "Dumm*" and pick "Tag" to select all the dummies — then de-select one (or don't if they all have the same name — instead, first create an object or uniquely named dummy to use as the "parent"). Link all selected to the non-selected object. Use Object/Delete and pick the "parent", and say "yes" to delete subtree. Will _that_ work? Dave
