I can't judge relative to the Diamond card but I had an ATI Mach64 card and the
Mill screams. I am still having trouble with the basic Windows drivers, but DOS
apps (3DS) and Win NT stuff are solid. The VESA 2.0 extensions are killer.
Makes the games (frame rates) super. I confess I bought it to speed up the
flight sim games I have. Also I have been trying to use Premiere but the ATI
card would blow it out. Haven't tried that yet.
I use Truespace also and the 3DR stuff is super. The MPEG player is fun too.
Wish I had a MARS card to compress my animations to MPEG now… Oh well.
Anyway, would I buy it again? Yes.
