>> Does anyone out there have a teenager using Studio or Pro? Hows the learning curve? My 13 year old uses a shareware program called "Movie" I would like to get him a real program that has job applicable skills involved, but only if it's not so difficult that only a dedicated adult can use it. Christmas is coming up. Please share your experiences with me. << well, okay. i'll say that after going back home for Christmas last year and sitting down with my 10-year-old brother for a friendly casual chat about pre-emptive tasking under Win95 versus NT, i will tell you that a 13 year old has the data absorption capacity of the newer convergence modems (10MB/sec) and you need not doubt that the kid is able to understand this. will it turn him/her into a geek? very possible. <ggg> both Animator Studio and Animator Pro are used at the local schools here, the kids love them, and they have shared a few tricks/workarounds with me during the buggier versions of AAS which were downright brilliant. go for it. -dave
