>> What do you mean by 24 bit display ? I am using 256 color 800×600 under windows , not using the fullscreen option??? Is that any help !!! << The bit about not using fullscreen helps. Because Visual Basic tries to manage the current color palette, fades and color cylclings don't work so well in any mode other than full screen. The only thing I can think of is that you could note which pixels are not fading correctly and then use Animator Pro to change their color to one that does fade correctly. >> Why does the color white I think (the light source) turn to black, is it something to to with the animation, the way it was render ?? What are the best options when rendering on 3d-Studio!! << It depends a great deal on which palette entries are use for what color, and what colors windows and visual basic are "locking down". You could exert more control over what colors the rendering uses by using a custom color pallete in the 3dstudio rendering dialog. >> oh yes another question how do I change the speed of the animation using the VBPLAY.VBX ? this option seems fixed. I want the user to decide the spees of the animation ??? << I believe you can set playback speed in the AnimSettings dialog box. -Grant Blaha [ADESK]
