Hi,
PMJI but….. I have been following this thread with interest because
my c-serve bills seem awfully high. I use WinCim which I take to be an offine
reader. I have enabled Auto-Pilot and typically download 3 sections of this
forum and 3 sections of the acad forum in about 3-4 minutes and then log off.
My bill still seems outrageous but scince it comes as one line item on a credit
card statement I can't tell were the $ go. I have tried to comunicate with
c-serve for an detailed accounting but no luck. I call one of thier 800 # for
14.4 modems to log on and this connect time is rolled into my bill. I have been
unable to determine how much this 800 # costs per minute and if the rates vary
for time of day.
My question is are these other readers Tapcis and Navcis so much faster
than WinCim that they pay for themselves?
