Anne… I have to line up on your side <G>. I've been a registered TAPCIS user for a few years now and I can't imagine WinCIM being faster, even with the autopilot function engaged. First, maybe the DOS offline readers are just plain faster, but I notice that even in the case of a forced log-off, TPACIS does it quicker than WinCIM. What I hope to become more proficient at is the use of CIS Navigator, which is CompuServe's Windows off-line reader. I can't believe that CI$ would spend the money developing a program like Navigator when the same thing could be done by using an existing program and a special function. Maybe someone has benchmarked all this and you could bring it in from another Forum? Sure would be interesting to see <BG>. \\\. ========================= >-==<MIKE(>=– >-==*- /
