Martin,
I just bought The Script Extension. I have been looking for some
scripts that show some ways to select and move a certain area of pixels, but so
far I havn't found anything. I would like to use it to change the expressions
on a texture mapped face. Is it possible to do this using TSE? I know where
the pixels (eyebrows, mouth) are on the model. I thought I could count the
pixel row and column using photoshop, and then go back and use a script to move
them, frame by frame if I have to. What has been done in this area?
Also I want to move a group of 12 follow objects that define the
movement of the whole figure in IK. I want to make a canned movement cycle
that includes shoulder rotation, head and body bobbing, weight shifting from
left to right foot, etc. Has anybody written something like this that can be
applied to any figure?
Third! I want to write a script that will place the model's feet on a
path that follows the contour of a surface, but doesn't sink into it. I am not
sure how to approach this one. Maybe select the closest vertices on the
surface to the path and then enter them in an array…..? How would I operate
on them to make sure I was on top, and not inside the surface? Perhaps a dummy
could then be made to follow the contour?

Sanford
