Microsoft Acquires Music Software Specialist, The Blue Ribbon SoundWorks
(17 Oct 95) Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com) said today it has acquired The
Blue Ribbon SoundWorks, Ltd., an Atlanta, GA-based, privately held music
software specialist. No financial details were disclosed. Blue Ribbon is known
for its AudioActive interactive music engine and SuperJAM!, a music-authoring
tool for musicians and nonmusicians, and other products.
