John, <I have been trying to download compressed files i.e. LIB4.lha with my PC and then using the cross dos on my amiga, decompressing them with Directory Opus. Directory Opus keeps failing to decompress saying Lha not recognised.> Do you have LHA in your C: directory on your Amiga? <Without logging on to compuserve with my amiga and downloading direct to the amiga is there anyway I can decompress the files that I have in Lha format on my PC.> There is a version of LHA for PC's (though I don't know where you can find it, I suggest searching in the PC areas using LHA as a keyword). However, a lot of Amiga files have longer file names then are usable on the PC. In your case above (LIB4.LHA) it shouldn't make any difference. Hope this helps. Asha @}–,–`–
