CompuServe Messages

I've been using an Amiga 3000 for my Video Production Business and recently purchased a used laptop PC-Compatible for Communications purposes via CompuServe. I've only had the PC for a few days but I have experimented in down- loading graphics to a DD disk then using it on the Amiga in a piece of software called "PC-Task" which runs on the Amiga and operates like a 286. In PC-Task, there is a command called COPYTOA.EXE which copies the IBM file on the PC DD disk to the Amiga Formatted disk. When in the Amiga, I then use one of several conversion utilities to convert JPEG or GIF to Amiga graphics formats. It's a bit cumbersome, but it works. (The images look better than on the PC!?!) I'm hoping someone has an easier solution and waiting to hear about it.
