Ian, I guess for my part I'm reluctant to use things like AutoStart or MUI that
may tap into the basic workings of the system. In the past I've gone through
various tools etc to optimize or whatever my system and it has usually meant
hacking around, tweaking and, in some cases, trying to de-install things.
Since my system runs fairly well at the moment (still 2.04 🙂 I'm reluctant to
fiddle with it, particularly if there is a chance that some way down the track
program x fails and there is an extra thing to consider in trying to work out
the problem.
