Toaster (CG) Crashes

Scott, As with all things computer…there are many variables that can cause intermittant crashes. If you aren't timid about opening up the box and fiddling around, you might try pressing down firmly on all the board seated chips installed on the mother board. Then check your acellerator card to make certain all it's memory chips are snug, as well as the acellerator board itself (making sure it's a snug fit in it's slot. Regarding the genlock/warmup issue. There is a small set screw on the side of the T4000 card labeled Center Frequency. It may just be possible that tweeking it ever so slightly (less than a 1/4 turn) to one direction or the other will do the trick. (had to do this recently myself and was suprised at how finicky the unit was in a 2000 compared to a 4000) Frank
