Donald,
I've been dealing with the same thing lately… long paths with keys in
sets of five. At times I've had success when manually reducing the curves to
the first, third, and last key. It becomes quite tedious, especially as I'm
often making refinements back in the Shaper or Lofter, and have to start all
over again! Let me know if you come up with a solution.
