Never! :^) I think David Rhoten cleared this up, in fact, I think it was his
original post where I saw the specs. I'd be curious to hear from anyone who
bought an HP as to how well it works, I've heard the software leaves a bit to
be desired.
On the other hand, the Pinnacle has a bit of a heat problem, especially in
Pinnacle's own external case. <bg> Cool it down a bit, and it will do 2X
recordings with the best of them.
I don't know that the 4X reading is of much value, I don't know anyone who
would use a CD-ROM recorder on a regular basis just to read CDs.
