Dave: I've been burning a disk a day for the past couple of weeks, best thing sinced sliced bread. Coulda hadda lot more sliced bread if I would have waited for the HP. 🙁 BTW, my new PC Mall catalog just arrived with the JAZ drive prominently displayed on the front cover. Gotta have all of these new devices. <G> For audio CD's you need to verify that you have a CD drive that supports "Digital Audio Exctraction". With the CD Creator software from Corel (I'm sure its the same in other packages) you get a couple of options for recording audio. First you can extract the audio data and store it in a "music cache" on your hard drive then write it to a CD. You can convert the music data to .wav files or you can write from one CD ROM drive to another but bus speed, CD ROM speed, and other factors may make this one a risky adventure I suspect. Yep, you could compile some awesome customized 'Best of' collections, etc. but don't try to sell them or you could get fried. – Bob Ritger
