FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE OCTOBER 25, 1995. SALSA LITO, CA. Digitalis, Inc. announces a mind-numbing upgrade to thier existing "Instant Artist" plug-in. The new upgrade is entirely re-architected to work with Autodesk's revolutionary 3DS MAX animation software. The upgrade, scheduled for shipment first quarter of '96, is tenatively titled "Make Art Pro". The tentative feature list includes: * Settings for "Creativity" and "Inginuity" * All new "Morph to Art" option, featuring Sticky Mapping (TM). * Settings for "Maximum Talent" and "Mass Appeal" * Special *hourly* pricing. * Support for rendering to fields. The plug-in ships with a propietary keypad which can be conveniently clipped to an Enhanced 101 keyboard. The keypad plugs into a full-length PCI hardware adapter (may require special riser, available from Digital Propping Systems). The keypad features a single button, subtly labelled "Mark Art". Once the user has adjusted the settings to their liking, a simple stroke of the Mark Art button initializes the plug-in. When rendering is complete, a fantasic work of art is ready for the public eye. Now in alpha testing, the final version of MakeArt Pro is expected to ship with a flip-up security cap for the Make Art button (located on the included keypad) to prevent unauthorized or accidental operation of the Make Art plug-in.
